WALL-MARKING GUIDELINE

Short AND Tall

 

  TALLNESS TABLE - Select a tallness table in Rules.

   FOUR MARKs - Measure from floor for Units 0, 1, 2 and 3, without yet marking. No mark will be required for 4 units.

  PRECISION AT TOP PART OF EACH MARK Because exactly the top of each mark defines units, measure again to confirm, and ...

  1. Pencil four dots - one for each of Units 0, 1, 2 and 3
  2. Again measure from floor to a few inches left or right and pencil 4 more dots.
  3. Holding a carpenter's level, or at least a ruler, draw four horizontal lines joining dots.
  4. Fill a thick area beneath each line using crayon, paint, pencil, pen, or tape, etc. Thickness and length are up to you. Add no data on wall.

   DETERMINANT Which is the lowest top-of-mark above the player's head?


Player is judged at Zero units because her head is below the TOP of the lowest mark


MARKS FOR THE AGE-GENDER   A four-mark set is specific to age-genderr.

 

Extending your fingers illustrates how Short AND Tall tallies player units.

View the space beneath the TOP of the little finger as 0 Units.
View 1, 2 and 3 Units below the other finger TOPS.
View tallness of 4 Units in the space above.
A sum of five Units is the tallnesss allowance for every squad.
